Who we are

OpenClawd is an independent publication about artificial intelligence. For any privacy question, write to amanalria9@gmail.com.

Information we collect

We do not ask you to create an account and we do not run a newsletter form on the site. Two kinds of information may still be recorded:

• Information you send us. If you email us, we keep that message and your address only for as long as needed to reply and to keep a record of corrections.
• Automatically collected technical data. Like almost every website, our hosting and analytics providers may log your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page and the pages you viewed.

Cookies

A cookie is a small text file a site or its partners store in your browser. We do not use cookies to profile you. Cookies on this site may come from:

• Basic site functionality and security provided by our hosting platform.
• Privacy-respecting analytics used to count page views in aggregate.
• Advertising partners, if and when advertising is enabled (see the next section).

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. The site will keep working normally without them.

Advertising and third-party vendors

We may display advertising served by Google, including Google AdSense. Please note the following:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this and/or other sites on the Internet.
• You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendor use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info.
• Third-party ad networks may also place cookies or web beacons. We do not control those technologies and recommend reading each partner's own privacy policy.

Analytics

We look at aggregate numbers only — which articles are read, and roughly from where. We do not attempt to identify individual readers, and we do not connect analytics data to email conversations.

How we use information

• To keep the site available, fast and secure.
• To understand which topics are worth writing more about.
• To reply to your messages.
• To meet legal obligations, if we are ever required to.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. Ever.

Data retention

Server and analytics logs are kept for a limited period by our providers and then removed or anonymised. Email correspondence is kept until it is no longer relevant.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete personal data we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. Email us with the subject line "Privacy request" and we will act on it within 30 days.

Children

This site is written for a general adult audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Articles link to documentation, tools and news sources. Once you follow a link, that site's own privacy policy applies. We are not responsible for their practices.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated date at the top of the page changes with it. Significant changes will be noted in the article feed as well.
